Really wish the dog (the big bad dog) was still viable. You could have two pieces of old metal from me instead of one

Had one of these for a while. Light weight, pretty kranz, easy to hold.

The extra loop in the bugle says "not F" to me, but I've never seen one of these not in F.

Cool horn and I like the hard case.
For sense of scale, how big is the bell and bore on this?

Re: eBay (Yorba Linda, CA pickup): Besson 995 CC
So, are there rotary PT7s? Sorry if that was answered
I had a really good Neptune for a while. Had some cool ideas (minus the detachable leadpipe ), not sure how many of them did anything. For example, all slides were inside outside. Cool, but...

Was the PT7 ever offered as a rotary instrument (Neptune?)? I think I've only seen piston/7P versions.

FS: Large Buescher Eb
For sale is a large Buescher Eb from 1923 with an 18.8" bell. Maybe of interest to a frankensteiner or someone just interested in a pretty, 100 year old horn. Not to say the horn is beat up, but the pictures make it look better than it is (I'll see if I can capture some of the imperfections on ...

Re: York Tuba, sister horn to “the” York
Anything in particular? The horn I posted had a 19" upright, which was supposedly worse than the recording bell for a number of reasons.
There's a very similar/identical York on Mr. Denney's website: https://www.rickdenney.com/york.htm

Re: vintage tuba illness
The minty York 716 I bought several years ago. Sold it to someone on the other forum, now owned by someone on this forum. There's another York that will be a good player too, but it's waiting in line to get prettied up :tuba: From the title, I thought you caught some early 20th century respiratory ...

Funny to think the:
2145 was Sam Pilafian's (though not sure how much he actually used it)
2155 was Warren Deck's
