Post by tclements »

I'm looking for bigger, concave finger buttons for my Wessex York. Can anyone help me? Thanks!

Give @Lee Stofer a call, he's probably got the buttons he took off my King.
Good luck!

Those really large (King/concave) buttons are probably SAE 8-32, but - if Jinbao are M4x.7 - those King buttons are so large than a small die would probably (??) fit up within the underside and (once you got it started) you could flip the die upside-down and feed it the wrong way (changing the threads) and (again back-feeding) you could re-thread almost all the way to the ends of the threads.

Wow.
Might be easier to have Lee send the buttons already mounted on new stems threaded for the Wessex.

@tclements I just found 2 complete large King finger button sets. One in silver and one in lacquer. Feel free to reach out to Lee or myself if you are interested in these buttons.
