Stumbled across this yesterday. It brings back a lot of memories. I think the last time I played my copy of the LP was in '81 or '82.

One note: the Mozart is the last track to be played. It’s a bit out of order.

Yeah, I noticed that, too. I don't recall the order of the pieces on the album, but the labels on the audio links are wrong. "Two Moods" are tracks 9 and 10, "O Isis" is track 11.

Great! First time I have heard this guy play. I like his clean attacks----very few notes that are "splattered" which is so common in playing the tuba. Thanks for your post.

I go to the music library and listen to this album often. Such tasty playing. He was an artist.

And don't forget about his Jazz work. One of the best Jazz albums i've heard and it was with Tubas. So clean, crisp, swinging and well mastered.
