New Mack Brass tubas

Post by LargeTuba »

Has anyone tried the new Mack Falcon Piston F tuba? It sure does look good.

Also does anyone know why they changed the name of the Nirchl 4/4 CC copy from the Little Thunderbird to the Raptor?

I have not.

I don't know.

But I like the BBb ZO stuff and the updated Jimbo stuff.

My Old Man Tuba (OMT) 422L is excellent!! :smilie7:

I spoke to Tom McGrady recently. He is sending the Falcon final prototype to a famous player who posts videos on YouTube, if he hasn’t already done so. After that, he plans to send it to an infamous player (me) who also posts on YouTube from time to time. He told me all about its development. It sure sounds like a winner to me. I can’t wait to try it!

Tom explained that it is not an exact copy of the PF125, but it does borrow from it. I'd certainly like to play a Falcon.
