Capuzzi String Bass concerto 1st mvmt band arrangement
So... David Werden has an arrangement out of the first movement of the Capuzzi String Bass Concerto. This is, by far, my favorite movement of this work. Does anyone know if there is an arrangement with band accompaniment of this piece? I'm not aware of any, but that doesn't mean that one does not exist.

I am not aware of any band or orchestra arrangement of this piece. I played it (along with the Rachmaninoff Vocalise) as an undergraduate in a studio recital and I just know of the piano part.

Years ago, I bought a bass edition with the intention of adding it to my concerto repertoire for competitions (I never got around to it). Read through it this morning on tuba and think the piece, in its original key and just using the actual bass edition is very doable in the original key; you just have to read the bass part down an octave.
Work this piece up a whole step higher, and there's an orchestral score you can play with it. Bonus: It's on IMSLP, with a few different arrangements, the original manuscript...and a version with bass and wind band.

If you see a Willson 2900, serial W2177, it's been missing for a long time. Help me bring it home.

Thank You,
I did not know about the arrangements. The Capuzzi String Bass Concerto is (in my opinion) a crowd pleaser and a good piece of music that is very doable on tuba.
