One baritone located in Peru, one euph located in Florida, with a picture clearly marked from a German shop called Eppstore, one wonders where you live, and how real the deal is? Or are you collecting images to sell? You did hit my scam alert button twice now. Please do explain yourself.

marccromme: Hello again! No problem! Let me introduce some context. My name is Jose Vera, I am 29 years old and I live in Peru, where there are not many music stores that one can buy professional Tubas, Euphoniums, Baritones, Trombones. They are either very high priced, sometimes B stock. Also due that It is not common for us to have much money, people do not usually bring used tubas for us to buy, because It could take years for the instrument to be sold. For that reason I always buy instruments in other countries. All over these past 7 years I have had the blessing to be able to buy a total of 5 used and 1 brand new Tubas in the USA, 1 used tuba in Hungary, 1 used French tuba in France, 1 used Baritone (the one in question) in Netherlands (If I remember well)1 used Euphonium in Netherlands, 1 used Euphonium in England, 1 used Euphonium in Germany, 1 used German Baritone in Germany and many, many mouthpieces around the world. Fortunately, I have friends around the globe and they graciously helped me to bring those instruments to Peru when they came to visit in here. I then used them for some time, and then upgrade or simply change direction, selling them to buy some other and so on. The same with mouthpieces and other items. I still have 1 tuba in California and 1 Euphonium in Florida. Those instruments were waiting to come to Peru, but after this virus came to light, my family and friends were unable to travel to Peru. So that is why I am selling some of the instruments that I am not using much. The baritone is really beautiful and easy to play, but IT is not being played much. The Euphonium, which I was very excited, because I was been looking for a Courtois 167RII (yes, that same specific model that I found) for some years. But due this situation, It looks that I am not going to be able to put my fingers and lips on It. I am also selling my B&S handmade German baritone and probably going to sell my Courtois 168 French Tuba, and if things keep going like this... even the tuba that I have in California, a Meinl Weston 197 (yes, that special tall Kaiser tuba) is going to be for sale at some point (but hopefully not).

You know, you gentlemen are very fortunate to test tubas in your country before buying at music stores, conventions, ITEC, Festivals, etc. I have been very lucky that the used instruments I bought only by eye, practically blindly, expecting the seller has being honest to me, not hiding dents, etc. were actually great instruments (just in 1 case the instrument was not that good, but I was expecting that due to the price, and pictures sent by the seller, but I had to take the risk because, again, here we have no option). But sorties clouded been different.

Here in my instagram I have a list of the instrument I am currently selling if anyone is interested.

I hope that explains It well. I can provide more information, pictures if needed, but I think this says more than enough.

Sorry for my not so good English.

Best always!
