Sounds like he drank a gallon of that cheap a$$ lamp oil. He should have stuck with UltraPure

Going off in that direction with you, I’m perfectly happy with music store brand valve oil salvaged from a pawnshop Bundy trumpet case, as long as that “Bud’s Music Center” oil isn’t rancid.
