Adult Band Camp All/Mid Atlantic??

Post by Three Valves »

Anyone have a positive experience at a 4 day or week long adult band camp??

Looks like a relatively economical vacation alternative.

And :tuba:

Is that one of them...nude colonies that walk around with musical instruments and lounge around the pool all day? :smilie2:

No, I was hoping others would chime in with any personal experiences, hearsay, or just plain silly remarks.

Two well known such places in Michigan show about 1k/week. That's a lot less than a week at the shore.

Does the Baltimore Symphony still do their adult camp/shadowing program? I always thought that looked cool, and I'd have really liked to sit in with Fedderly. I don't know the current guy though. I can't remember the cost of it, and I think it might have been quasi-competitive to get in for tuba...? But just like attending a BSO concert, I got the impression that I was at least 30 years too young for their intended audience.

I'll keep an eyeball out for for now, but the BSO has cancelled their Strathmore program in solidarity with former box office workers no one needed. :eyes:

Yeah, sorry. Every now and then I get lulled into the error of taking things seriously. :smilie6:
