99.99% of what it do is boring:

People bring in torn-up-or-neglected stuff and I do the best I can for their budgets.

My motto is "Hey...I didn't break it !"

Only RARELY do I do anything that I would deem of interest to anyone.

In a month or so, I might be fixing up a VERY old 186 B-flat for a school...It's goofy, because the bell is cut, and it sports a 186 RECORDING bell flare (pointing up)...but that's not particularly interesting (at least, not to me)...and there's a Geretsried-vintage Meinl-Weston 25 (with a bunch of new parts, and a new JP379BB bell - exact copy) that I'm going to try to slick out for someone...if they're still interested...but is that really of interest to many...?? (I tend to doubt it...)

I think (as you are someone that repairs instruments for a living) you'd be surprised what us shade tree mechanics would find interesting...

I for one would be interested to follow the progress on both horns.

Joe, I really dig seeing your final results for sure. You do fantastic work, even when it’s a budget job.

It would be cool to see more of your stuff as you have time and see fit. The OTS Eb thread was interesting back in East Germany.

wow...I've been so distracted by Mrs. bloke's barn, some last-minute school repairs, and a demo-video of a (hopefully: sold) tuba, that I had COMPLETELY forgotten about the OTS.

Surely, Joe, you know there are many (some who are repair "geeks" and "fanboys" seeking "repair porn") who take great interest in repair stuff, many of whom take great interest in your work. Throw 'em a few more bones, and I bet it's well-received. I'm sure it's inconvenient to document the everyday, more mundane work, and we all know that time is money, and documenting everything would be detrimental to business and simply getting things done. But... you have enough cool things going on that sure would be interesting and educational to see in numerous detailed photos. Just sayin...
