Major drool. How can I explain to my wife that I want to buy another tuba while I have a B&F tuba being restored? ;)

Hey everyone,

not to burst anyone's bubble, but this tuba is unlikely a B&F Kaiser although it looks similar.
The bracing and ferrels don't match other B&F tubas and the shield on the bell is likely from a baritone as the tuba versions are somewhat larger.
Due to the increasing demand and desire for B&F tubas, we are starting to see more of these "similar but not" versions especially here in Germany.
If you are thinking to buy a B&F and are not 100% sure its legit, send me a message and a boat load of photos and I'll give you my 2cts.
Happy tuba hunting out there...
