Miraphone G170103 Gig Bag - Sold
$250 plus shipping ($339 new from Horn Guys, plus shipping). Bag is in Reston, VA near DC.
According to Miraphone, this bag fits: model 1291, model 1292 New Yorker, model 291 Bruckner, model 91, model M7000 Ambassador, model M7050 Ambassador. Max height is 36.61 inches, bell diameter is 18.898 inches.
Knowing this bag fits a 191 / 1291 / 1292 / 291, and is a hairs breadth too short of comfortably fitting my 6/4 CC tuba (albeit with a smaller bell flare), I have to think this would fit a TON of front action 3/4, 4/4 and 5/4 tubas. It's not like new - it's had a horn put in it a couple times and never left my basement. I'm calling that new.
Miraphone bags seem to me to be extremely well made and designed. The top-loading lid is semi-rigid which makes for a wee bit more protection. https://www.miraphone.de/gigbag-for-bbb ... 80-mm.html
Payment through PayPal or Venmo.

Re: Miraphone G170103 Gig Bag - New
BUMP - I should have mentioned, I bought this for my Besson 983 when I had that and it was a great fit for that as well as a great fit for my 2141 when I had, that, too. So those bigger piston Eb and F tubas? Yep, should work just fine.

Re: Miraphone G170103 Gig Bag - New
I mean, I KNOW this would be idea for me, but I can't bring myself to get it just yet... 1) because I have nowhere to go with it, 2) the tuba is already protected in the hardshell case, and 3) I may not keep the tuba long enough to need it anyway and it's just one more thing to ship/sell.
Definitely a nice bag though, and hard to say no to it.
