Not a criticism. Mike is still in business and doing well, I hope, but I’m not sure the 1 or 2 were ever that popular. I had one of each as well as a 3H, and they were all good, I just found ‘pieces I liked better.

The 'H' was my favorite. I traded a few emails with Mike last summer, but ultimately didn't buy anything.
I liked the MF1 well enough. Might be nice to try again sometime, but the eBay one is pretty rough looking.

I've played an H for years. I'm never giving it up. Even though it's not the best for my current horn, it was far and away the best thing for a 1291 and my PT6.
But I'll go out on a limb and say we all play differently...which is why there is more than one type of tuba mouthpiece :)
