ok...The completely-beat-to-crap 95% positive feedback 1970's Miraphone 184 B-flat went for $1500...
...so - when I finally get the one that I'm fixing up for sale "turnkey" (with a never-smashed-up bell, a never-smashed-up body, and a functional hard case included) - that gives me some idea how much to "ask".

Re: eBay: "The Great Appraiser"
Anything with Mirafone on the bell (pre cv-19) used to sell no less than $2000 in any condition it seemed. Vintage 186 in almost any condition were selling for no less than about $2600-2800 on the low side. Sadly this is the new reality, unless you have a real hungry buyer.

Re: eBay: "The Great Appraiser"
I didn’t buy the one that just sold, but – knowing how much I would theoretically charge to straighten it all out…and assuming the person who bought it is going to pay to have all that done, that gives me an idea of what to ask for the one that I will eventually be selling.
After all, think of all the people - who are B-flat players - who talk about trying to find a nice professional quality 3/4 size instrument.
