I'm glad we had him around to enjoy his playing and persona for so many years.
Seeing that his second wife's maiden name is "Grassi", I tend to wonder whether she was a member of family that manufactures instruments, or whether that's (simply) a common name in Italy.

She also looked 30 years younger than him..hopefully the end of his life was fruitful with a young beautiful wife.
