James Sexton - amazing drummer - just called me for a Mardi Gras gig over in Jonesboro, Arkansas. I didn’t even ask what it paid, and just said “absolutely yes“.
It’s nice for gigs - that always were a “given” in the past (was always just a matter of who called to hire us first) - to start reappearing, as well as seeing people that I haven’t seen in a while.
James is a tremendous talent, and has the gift of an infectious smile.
