I think I recall this as being previously for sale, although the pics are different.

Yes, I remember it too and considered going to have a look at it. I remember thinking how neat those form fitting cases were (anyone wanting to sell one for a York 712, I’m your guy).

I don’t think that (very well fitting) SKB case was included during the last sale. It was listed in Orange County back then too.

Classy looking horn.
Some old Yorks, Martins, and perhaps a King rotary valved CC

The ad does not state what model this is. Anyone know?

I don't. When this horn was listed previously I guessed it was a New Invention BBb Monster Bass Bell Up Four valve front action, but Conn models from that period don't seem to be as well documented as those of other manufacturers. The closest horns on horn-u-copia are labeled Conn Giant or Conn Monster, i.e.

Still, this horn has several differences from the pictures of those. Either way, I like the dimensions of the thing. It reminds me of a 52J or my old Gnagey, both of which were King-inspired.

Reminds me of this one:

I wonder if the BBC Conn looked like the CL Conn before it was modified/pitch-adjusted?
