I believe I just bought some things from one of you...

Tubas, euphoniums, mouthpieces, and anything music-related.

I believe I just bought some things from one of you...

I just picked up two (old-old-school) Hirsbrunner euphonium threaded interchangeable mouthpiece receivers (eBay).
Both were advertised as "small shank".
I'm thinking that I have TWO sizes already (originally, I had only ONE size, and - years ago - picked up a SECOND one on eBay).
Just now, I was too lazy (OK...We just finished digging out/re-revealing the bottom of an 80-foot run of fence, so I'm tired) to go out to the shop and look, so I just (just now) bought BOTH of them, even though they are identified as being the same.
Whatever sizes I have (EVEN IF all three are "small") there's enough material in three SMALL ones to (via the lathe, obviously) make a small, medium, and large out of three smalls.

I have stuff ahead of it, but one of my next things is going to (finally) get my Hirsbrunner euphonium (early vintage, Nirschl valveset, remarkable condition) going, and decide between keeping IT and keeping my Meinl-Weston 551G stencil (which is quite satisfactory, just fwiw).

bloke "THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE !" (and NO...I'm NOT selling it, until I get it fixed up and compare it to what I have.)
