Bloke has another satisfied customer

Post by Billy M. »

Ok, so I’m a repeat customer and @bloke has proven time and time again that he is a fine business man and straight shooter. This is not ego stroking, this is Bloke being Bloke.

I had the pleasure of purchasing a John Packer 379FF tuba from him this past week and like always, smooth transaction, very fair pricing, no BS, and follow up to ensure satisfaction.

It’s been nearly 2 decades since picking up an F tuba other than to admire and Bloke’s word is solid: these horns really are good (not just for the money).

I have a honeymoon period to get through but it seems to point toward only getting better and expectations were set moderately (not that I’ve ever really had doubts when doing business with Joe).

So here’s to you, Bloke: always happy to do business with you. Look forward to making music with this fine instrument.

If I had a "Jones" for a PT-15 (unlike so many Asia-made knock-offs that just aren't quite "there"), I would have one of these, instead
...and the same goes for their really nice compensating E-flat tuba vs. the B&S-made Besson. I seriously believe that the JP one is slightly better than the Germany one.

OK...They're either just as good (if not a hair nicer) and there's tons of dough left over to buy (now: double-priced) groceries and fuel.

I'm glad that Billy is happy, which is what really matters.
