Got my dream tuba!!!!

Post by cthuba »

Normally I wouldnt post something such as this and my immediate family will likely make me feel like I am wasting my money but...

Ive never felt so much immense joy. This instrument simply does what I want it to without any conversations so to speak.... Almost as though my daily routine feels unnecessary... But I'll likely continue because its meditative.

Anyway my new! (To me)

Goldbrass Bruckner 291!!!

Congratulations!

The Bruckner is a super tuba, and, being experienced like @bort2.0 and Jimi Hendrix, I can attest that the goldbrass version is quite special.

If you have more pics and sound samples, post 'em!

Like a boat or RV, a tuba is only a “waste” if it isn’t used.

That’s nice!!

I don’t know whether that material sounds any different, but it sure is pretty ❤️, and it’s virtually impervious to red rot. 😎😉

It has been a while since I have played a Bruckner, but last time I did, I remember commenting on how similar it played to my 1291, but with rotor valves. It surely is a great horn.
