I believe it's sold. If the valves are good, that's a crazy bargain.
I'm taking out my hurriedly-pieced-together THREE-valve comp (shown in the "gigs" thread) today, and its valves don't leak, but feature failed plating. I have some other (nice-looking) 3-comp pistons I could stick into it, but - well - I'm eventually pulling it back apart, and converting it to 3+1 comp, so what's the need?
intonation with these:
VERY good, with the only hiccup being (just as with the euphoniums of the same - and current? - era) the E-flat octave is too wide, and there's no easy on-the-fly fix for the upper one being too high.
