Gig bag photo thread
Here's a place to share photos of your gig bag!
Here's mine... I don't like it much, except for the fact that I already own it. Everything about it is awkward to me. I'm upgrading soon. :)
Would love to see your gig bags. Personally, I'm interested to see how BIG tubas look in their gig bags.

Re: Gig bag photo thread
I just picked this one up (new) for $60 + $40 shipping.
It's lighter weight than the ten-times-as-much bags, and - LACKING straps to carry it on one's back - that makes it even lighter (and I never like carrying tubas on my back, anyway...it tends to wrinkle gig-clothes and - if there's a trace of dirt of cat-hair-that-I-may-have-missed on the bag, that ends up on my gig-clothes as well.
I would estimate that - with ADULT use (as so many under-25 people seem to possess the talent of "being able to even f-up a ball bearing") - this bag would probably only last about 60 years or so.
I wish I knew where it came from, so I could stock up on them to put with future-sold used instruments (though storage could prove to be an issue).
It features one of those (ref: CHINA-made Reunion Blues bags) removable circular bell donuts. WITH the donut in place, it fits my 5450 like a glove (as seen).

You should follow protocol, and start another thread with a poll as to whether we should rename this thread.

That’s nice enough to have some stitch leather handles and a single shoulder strap onto it.bloke wrote: ↑Mon May 02, 2022 7:42 am I just picked this one up (new) for $60 + $40 shipping.

Re: Gig bag photo thread
There's a model number on the tag..."TB-XXXX", but "tuba bag TB-XXXX" shows NOTHING on the internet.

Here is a shot of Mrs. E helping me pack for work. They are both top-loaders, as you can see…

Re: Gig bag photo thread
I'm still really liking the color and construction. Happily, a 188 fits in this case, too.
