Thanks for posting these! I really enjoyed the two yesterday. It was a treat to hear how musical a brass band could sound on the Adagio for Strings.

What are you playing in this group?

I am playing the Hagen 496 BBb. I’m on the left (stage right), in the middle is the 1960s Meinl Weston 5/4 BBb that I reviewed on YouTube, and on the right is the Gronitz piston Eb that I reviewed. Just one Eb bass right now.

Yeah… it’s no secret that the Adagio is tough to pull off in several respects. Our Director did one heckuva job pulling it together. Hope it sounded alright.

And just a hint of pedal C at the end.

Thank you for posting this. A tremendous concert for sure! The ensemble playing was terrific and your bass section was both extremely fluid and solid when it was necessary. A fine group! :clap: :clap: :clap:
