In the past, I hoarded these California bags, but Mrs. bloke made me sell of several of them.
(when it became a giant kitchen-range-size open-top box FULL of them - sitting in the laundry/mud room.
Formerly, I didn't get particularly excited about picking up another one of these (ie. "oh, good", etc.)
In the meantime (new ownership company having to cover acquisition cost of name and patterns / top-down engineered hyperinflation, etc.) they are now $724 - if bought new at the regularly-listed price...
...so "included for no extra dough, with some stuff that I bought"... well, paying $0.00 for this -today - was sorta cool.
I'm not selling it, but (I'm thinking of) retreating to hoarding. It fits my B&S F tuba a little bit more snugly that the California-made bag in which I already had been carrying it. (I'm thinking this bag is slightly shorter, and is ACTUALLY made for a 16.5" bell, rather than a 17.75" bell.
Since (girth-wise) the fit is just a bit lose (as can be seen) my guess is that this probably was made to fit the "classic/handmade" Miraphone 186 tubas.
The purpose of this post...?? nothing more than "lookie hee-uh at what I gots".
Since my other bags are named...I suppose (if I keep this one...??) I'll probably name this one as well.

- bricks from a wide torn-down chimney with a very large interior all-brick hearth (for bolstering a pond bank, and undoing torrential rains-caused spillway washing). I dropped my two-axle trailer off - this morning - at the worksite. The demolition men will load them.
(It might be two heaping trailer-loads...?? Have you priced out small-size riprap, lately...??)
- TWO ACRES worth of feed corn (though we had to hand-pick it, shuck it, and buy some additional food-grade barrels in which to store it). It had been standing since October - originally grown to sell as (only for the brown stalks) fall decorations for city folk.

I did (what I thought to be) a really small favor for someone. Today - as the favor was completed, they handed these off to me. They work for a safety equipment company, and are authorized to give away a certain amount of samples. "Don't ever buy work gloves again; just call me..." they said.
