Tubaforum members,
One of our members (who I hung out with a bit at MWRTEC) mentioned on facebook that a horn could give a "Galaxy Class Sound". This got me thinking, that with American orchestral auditions being cattle call (and often sponsoring employment), that if there were tuba playing life on other planets, that a simple "world class tone" would not be good enough. We must be on the forefront of this potential. We need to be teaching a Galaxy Class Sound to our students!

I think some galaxies can feel the presence of your nice new rotor BBb. I wonder if some American Orchestra was won on a rotor BBb tuba if that would shift the paradigm of horns being bought and made
