I am hoping someone can tell me more about these. I've seen the profile before. There is no maker name, model number, or any markings. The rounded rim looks inviting and may be good for flexibility. American shank.

My first tuba, a MW 32, came from a dealer who included no-name/non branded Chinese mouthpieces. I think the "profile" is borrowed from the PT/RT line. If there isn't any writing, I'd assume it was one of those bulk MP's.
I didn't care for it, and gave it away to another local band director who needed one for a student.

I am guessing these are Chinese copies of the PT shape. The real PT mouthpieces had heavier silver plating; I have never seen a real one "denuded" in that way.
Also, that profile might have been copied/modified from an old H.N. White design. I have a few old King small shank trombone pieces from the 'teens and 'twenties that are similar in shape. The PT is not as close to this as I remembered, but it *does* share that same hemisphere-with-rim look.

The Chinese mouthpieces that I have seen (all: with only a dusting of silver plating on them) and the older style PT exterior shape have all featured a Helleberg II rim and cup shape inside of them.
If those are the same thing – and if they are not all chipped up, they might be worth signing up and plating - if someone is a fan of those interior dimensions.
