SOLD

For sale: Meinl Weston 2145 CC Tuba circa 2008.

Immaculate condition, only one scratch on bell. I love this tuba, I just don't play it enough to justify keeping it.

4 piston steel valves
bore: 19mm / .748˝
4th valve 20mm / .787˝
5th valve rotary valve: 20,5mm / .807˝(thumb operated)
bell Ø: 42cm / 16.5˝
height: 93m / 36.6˝
yellow brass
clear-lacquered

This is a terrific horn at a very reasonable price! The MW 2145's play in tune and blend very well in any orchestra or band. I had the pleasure of owning one for five years and certainly enjoyed playing it. My horn ended up in the hands of a tuba performance major here in Saskatchewan and I am sure that this young fellow made much better use of the horn than I did. Good Luck with the sale!! :tuba:

Might be the prettiest 2145 that I've ever seen. :hearteyes:

I really like these tubas but my money, need, and opportunity never seem to line up as they should. I think they are a really nice size for an awful lot of things. Goodness that would be just about perfect for me and the medium-sized orchestra that I'm playing in. If if if if if...

I had a new MW 2145 which I used for eight years in good quality community orchestra. Really fine tuba,
