Here is a live impression of the new piece for tuba by Emil Teuchert.
Concert piece in F for tuba solo and piano.
Played on 09.07.2022 in Malaga Spain during the AEYTB Festival on the hottest stage. Over 35 degrees!!!
This piece may have been one of the first solos ever for tuba!

Composed between 1890 and 1915 by Emil Teuchert.
Arrangement by Peter Teufel

that's nice... I love those old solos. i've played several over the years... i like the melodies

i played BEELZEBUB in high school for solo festival... it comes from that era. i thought it had claim to that title but i guess this one is earlier?

Play it with emotion and play it strong! Don't make a face and they won't know it's wrong!

You must have the world’s longest tuning slide. You did a great job of keeping the pitch down.👍

I would think twice before purchasing an arrangement by someone named "Teufel"!

The tuba has a mainslide trigger, and i pull it out. The screw was broken and the slide fall out...Everything 10 seconds before the concert. I could fix it quickly...
But that's something you don't need before a recital...
