The valve section would be an amazing head-start if someone really honest-to-goodness wanted to build a BB-flat contrabass cimbasso.
I’d probably then fish around and stick some larger bore valve section on the instrument in the picture and offer it for sale, or simply offer the body for sale without the valve section.
…I’m fairly sure that the valveset bore size of this tuba is only 16mm.
