Any tuba friends near Norfolk VA??

Post by Kctuba »

I’m in need of someone willing to help a tubist out (for a fee of course) if they are able to help me in securing an instrument that happens to reside in VA.

PM or email if you might be able to help. Thank you so much!

I think that @jtuba is in Norfolk.

And a few people around Richmond. I forget the person's name, but someone that used to work with Tom McGrady just opened a shop in Richmond(?) as well.

Not sure how far any of that is from Norfolk, though. I lived in Maryland for 30 years, and only ever went to Norfolk once or twice. Virginia is actually a pretty large state, and once you get out of (the nearly separate state of) Northern Virginia, it's quite nice.

If you're visiting Norfolk, the Bay Bridge and Tunnel is quite an engineering marvel and worth checking out.

That is Chris Lair, @Thetubalair, with whom I recently did business and can readily recommend as a stand-up guy! https://thetubalair.com/

Richmond is about 1.5 hours from Norfolk.
