The upright bell 4v has a generic mouthpiece receiver on it rather than the stock Martin 'bits' set up and will result in an odd playing angle. A call to Martin Wilk can remedy that though. These play great. My 4v fixed upright USN horn is a beast (with good intonation). I love it.
Some old Yorks, Martins, and perhaps a King rotary valved CC

I agree with York-aholic that the Mammoth is terrific. My four-valve says USMC on the bell. It has an after- market leadpipe on it and I think the playing position is fine.

Have you considered this horn? It's $3200, but I think it could be had for a lot less with some negotiation.

20 Inch kanstul upright bell. I think some serious damage could be done with this horn.

Gotcha. My mistake in assuming that it was the stock leadpipe with a mouthpiece receiver stuck on it. My apologies.
