Morton salt slogan

Post by bloke »

just picked up [1] a masterworks (longhair tunes) and [2] a Christmas show from an out-of-state freeway philharmonic (with which I've worked - on-and-off). :smilie8:

(...I'm thinking that Demondrae's wife, Jenny Grégoire, is still the concertmaster in that orchestra...
She's as nice a person as is he. 🙂 )

The two concerts/rehearsals (dates-wise) fit like puzzle pieces inside the dates of other gigs. :smilie8:  :smilie8:

They've boosted both their mileage allowance and hotel allowance, so that helps.

For each job (after buying the required gas) I should be netting c. $100 per each gig on the mileage allowance. :teeth:

Congrats on the gigs. But since you used the title to get me to bite, here you go: Morton uses anti-caking agents. Depending on the product, Morton uses either/or prussiate of soda, calcium silicate, magnesium carbonate, and/or silicon dioxide. Generations ago, this was a step ahead of other salt manufacturers so that when relative humidity would rise, as it does during, for example, a rain shower or storm, the salt would not cake up and still flow freely. Hence the logo and slogan, incorporating one of the most famous puns of all time, "When it rains, it pours."
