FS: VMI "Sanders Etude" BBb tuba

Here is a VMI-made BBb that is similar to the ubiquitous VMI 101. A great little player! Bell is 15 3/4", height is 38", and weight is a skimpy 16 lbs. Sounds nice; intonation is good. Valves are very good and good compression, slide all move but a couple are poorly aligned, and the valve mechanism is a mish-mash of linkage parts - not pretty but functional. No case. $1600. You cover shipping.

Yeah, it is silly. But it works... so I will let the next owner straighten things out. Or not.

I think that tuba looks REALLY cool. Would be very handsome in raw brass, a good little project for the next owner.
