I got sick of the craptastic editing on some lead sheets I have to use every year, so last year I recorded this tune *exactly* as it appears on the page. I think the end result of the lyrics being all FUBARed like that is pretty satisfying.

Please forgive my terrible voice. There are reasons I am an instrumentalist…

===================================
She edited out the funniest part...
...a false start where Snoopy fell off the chair...
...but the did NOT edit out the look on her face. :laugh:

糟糕的编辑让我伤心!

In the linked video, Snoopy does indeed take a dive at the end.

Did you know she is a sort of neighbor to you?

1. You misunderstood. That was the syncopated version written for Spike Jones.

2. How did you manage not to wake up the cat sleeping on your head? :huh:

:clap: :thumbsup:

I met her a few months ago, when a (yup) TUBA PLAYER (nope: not me) ruined the slide on her Bach 42, and she was told to ask me to bring it back.
I've since played a couple of random gigs/pieces (Danzon 2 - Marquez / Mahler 1), where she was also hired.
I received a friend request on fb, so - when she rarely posts - I see her stuff.

I noticed her earlier this year I think, maybe on a rec of yours. Some really nice videos, including a couple of seasonal things, e.g. this and this. The latter is a duet with her sister, and at 2:10 she briefly covers the solo of another performer from yesteryear.
