SOLD: Cerveny 681 BBb $1,200

Post by arpthark »

This is a vintage 1970s/80s-era Walter Sear-imported Cerveny 681 BBb. 4/4 size, four valves. Made in Czechoslovakia.

Some evidence of past repairs/solder work, bell has been rolled out. Dents on the bow guards, scuffs, dings, etc. All slides move and valves are decent. Linkage a bit noisy. Great sound.

Asking $1,200. Prefer local pickup in southeast CT or I can meet you in New England/NYC metro area.

edit: SOLD!

Hi,

Would you be able to link to a video of how it sounds? Primarily looking for a tuba to use in a community band
