Hello all.
Does anyone know the thread size of 1970s Besson New Standard euphonium finger buttons? If not, does anyone know what brand(s) of finger buttons will fit? I have asked the question on the euphonium site.
Thank you.

Re: 1970s Besson New Standard Euphonium Finger Buttons Thread Size
The thread is larger than the Besson (English-style) baritone buttons from that era...but I haven't put any of them up against a thread gauge.
If you're at a hardware store, maybe (??) buy the cheapest 8-32 thread screw you can find (you might have to look in those drawers of "machine" screws if at big-box) and TRY it in the stems.
I think (??) I have some Conn-Selmer 8-32 thread (American baritone) buttons which are new and probably narrow enough to fit within that vintage Besson top-cap parapet, but (first) you need to determine your thread size. I would suggest starting by testing an 8-32 screw...
