I realize that this is a real long shot. Anything Kanstul on the used market seems to be scarce as hen’s teeth! But nothing ventured, nothing gained!
I have been enjoying my 902-3B quite a bit, but wishing it had a 4th valve. 902-4B is the 4 valve version. Ideally, I would like it to be dent free and lovingly cared for, but if you have one that you’re willing to part with, tell me about it!
Might be interested in other Kanstul products as well, depending on location, price, and condition. Mostly interested in Bb, but also willing to learn new fingerings for a truly epic bargain!

Yep, saw both of those. The CC looks nice but too rich for my blood right now. The F is in my price ballpark though. Not sure if I want an F. I think I would like an Eb better if I decided to bass tuba.bort2.0 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 10, 2023 10:12 am These are the two Kanstul tubas I know of right now:

I will probably bump this up occasionally, as I know a quest like this might go on for years and still yield nothing.

I think the F was assembled from leftover bits and pieces? I remember a few horns being built after the factory closed from remaining parts. Looks cool.bort2.0 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 10, 2023 10:12 am These are the two Kanstul tubas I know of right now:
