Very typical pricing for Quinn, meaning that it's not exactly a bargain, unless you were planning to buy something new. The prices are usually just fine, considering that you're buying from a business and not from a private individual seller person.

For example, this tuba, if it's not brand new, is really really close to it. And if you were going to buy this brand new, I'm sure it would be over $10,000 these days. Look at the savings! :)

Seems to be a recent trend though... Low popularity items in very fine condition, with a high asking price based on condition rather than demand.

Side note, at Tuba Christmas this year, I sat next to a retired guy who played one of these Yamaha 621 CC's. He sounded great on it, come to find out he's played that exact tuba for 30 plus years, and was years ago an adult graduate student of Harvey's.
