6450/2 with MAWs for Nirschl

Post by braedenheld »

Hey all,

I am looking to trade my handmade 6450 for a nirschl york. I love my horn, and the MAW valves have made it an incredible playing experience, but it is still just not quite the sound that I am looking for. Feel free to PM me with any questions or for pictures!

Thanks,
Braeden

1) Keep your horn during your search. You love it right?
2) DOUBLE your practice time with it, and for a few minutes before each practice period intentionally think about "the sound in your head"
3) Go ahead and keep shopping, but when you find a horn you think you are interested in, keep that concept of the sound in your head in mind before you play a note on it, you can do that by focussing for a couple minutes the same way you are learning to do before your practice sessions.
4) I wouldn't be "deleted dp" if I didn't add one last thing: discuss the addition to your routine with your teacher
pfft (yes, that's for you)
