That's a neat tuba OH MY GOD WHY DID THEY DRILL SCREWS INTO THE BACK OF THE VALVE!

I had seen there was an estate sale near San Diego, and this tuba was shown in the preview. Looked "eh" in the photo... Looks far worse in the ebay post.

Neat horn, but I wouldn't pay half that much for it as shown...

Saw the screws when I first saw the ad. There's one in the top as well in an odd place on the first valve. I have no idea what's up with those. Heckuva way to get rid of a rattle.

You're right! Gotten tighten it up somehow...

I actually recently sold one of these that was clearly a string linkage to Dubro conversion. It worked pretty well. No weird screws.
