bloke "who always wears bland clothing, chooses to live in houses that are not easily spotted (if visible at all) from the road, and would never think of putting a bumper sticker on the back of any of my cars"
similar humor:
In the 7th grade, we had a very quiet/private man teaching us geography.
That having been said, he was well-grounded and self-aware.
When a very outgoing student (with the gall to look through his mail on his desk) insisted on that teacher revealing what his middle initial "B" stood for, the teacher quietly/sarcastically offered forth "Brutus".
At least one person gets my humor.
