Willson TUBA WILLSON 3200 FA-5XL

This (haha) has the big fat thumb ring someone was looking for, methinks. A bit expensive for just the thumb ring.

not the same topic (but tangentially related?)...

When I see an eBay auction listed as "tuba" or even "musical instrument", I (usually) scroll past, because it's going to be some make/model in which few would be interested in owning.

As an example...
The old Jinbao-made "Sanders Imperial" (copy of B&S 101/Schneider model...basically a Jinbao model 200) that I'm offering for sale...
I can see someone listing that as "tuba".

I believe I saw a Taiwan-made tuba listed as "tuba musical instrument" today on eBay, but (well... :eyes: ) listed for c. 6X my asking price.

ON TOPIC: I wish I could LIKE Willson F tubas (I just can't, and no criticism of those who do...I "get" the "they play strong" lure). I've had some amazing opportunities to own a couple of them for attractive prices.

It clearly says in the pic that it's a "uoSll!M" brand tuba:

I'm thinking Tibetan/Mongolian...?

That guard also looks like an itchy carpet remnant.

In kolij, we created a character (much along the lines of the Tubah Goddhh) - named "Tubankhamun" (the creator of the tuba) - who was in ʇdʎƃƎ.
