Great American Brass Band Festival 2023
Anybody heading to this event? I am playing in the host band after five years away, on a borrowed tuba.

Had a fun time on the band wagon:
Spotted some OTS saxhorns and the like:
Really great time last weekend. The actual band concert -- after the parade and such -- was fine. We played a lot of pop tunes. The audience liked it, but I would've preferred some more classics. Shrug. Lots of great groups there, though. Some great NOLA jazz.
