That tuba is in NICE condition, but the patina on the raw brass makes it look "less" than it is. I bet if it were gleaming and lacquered, it'd look almost new, and look like a more than $7300 tuba.
I guess it's "only 5 valves," but if the intonation isn't trashy with 5 valves, then no need for a 6th, or a bunch of triggers and slide pulls and smoke and prayers to make it play in tune.
What do these cost brand new these days...?
