Hi everyone, I am new to the forum. I have always been a huge tuba fan (although I play the french horn). I am a band teacher and recently wrote some preludes for a student, but was hoping for a more seasoned opinion about the pieces. They're short and sweet, but hopefully fun to just pick up and play . Would really love anyone's opinion, thanks!

What age range/skill level are you aiming for?
Some of the bits are a bit technical for young players.
The lower the notes, the more difficult the articulation can be.

Actually, I didn't have a specific age group in mind since it was for a specific student (he was basically more advanced than the rest of the class so I was hoping this would be more challenging for him).
Re: New Tuba Preludes for Your Opinion!
I particularly liked #4 and #6. You have composed some interesting pieces, worthy of publication. Much too hard for many players, but stimulate practice activity. Keep up the good work.
