Maybe WTS: Martin Medium Eb
I haven't totally decided yet, but would sure be easier if I knew someone was interested.
Might be selling my 1922 Martin Medium Eb... 3 front action valves, 17" bell, and 32" tall. Bore is something like .656" Satin silver finish, with bright silver accents. In really great shape, and plays great. Takes a small shank mouthpiece. 100% ready to go.
Beautiful tuba, sweet sound, and a great "very medium" size that's easy to hold and transport.
Comes with a Miraphone gig bag in ok shape, that fits the horn pretty well (a lil tight in the bell, but good otherwise).
I really like this tuba, and have many future plans for it, or, just had planned to hold onto it for a long time. But, it's the only tuba I have, and it's not really fitting any needs right now (not using it, and when I do need a tuba, this really isn't it). So... I may be better off just selling and getting something more suitable.
I'll try to post a photo later today.
Let me know if you're interested. No promises just yet, but trying to see if there's any interest.

I'm interested in the bag, if you're willing to part out the package.

Will it fit in the trunk of a Miata?

Thanks, everyone... sounds like I'm all set, if/when the time comes.
@jtm, I'm going to need to borrow a Miata for a while to find out. Such things can't be determined very quickly either, it takes a solid few weeks.

Brett,
Just zip over to Luther Mazda in Brooklyn Center with your Martin, they're nice folks (I've been there) and would let you give it a try.
With 11 yrs in the car biz, believe me - I've had weirder requests.
Good luck!
Tim

I was walkin' to a tuba xmas rehearsal, and got asked by a dealership to come in and play a tune. What goes around, comes around, or somethin'.MN_TimTuba wrote: ↑Thu Sep 14, 2023 9:55 pm Brett,
