When I saw "big ears" my first thought was the owner of a British brand of Chinese-made low brass

I taught college ear training, so I am an egg-spert.
The changes are:
SCUBA to DUBA
and it occasionally changes from
SCUBA to DIVER
hope this helps!

Re: need help from someone with "big ears"...
As that was recorded live, I tend to suspect that the song was generated as a result of chit-chat with the audience, whereby someone told Louie that he was a scuba diver or some lady told Louie that she or her husband is a scuba diver or something like that. There's little doubt in my mind that the whole thing was improvised on the spot. I mean seriously... and/but it's absolutely hilarious (to me).
Two or three years before he passed away, Mrs bloke and I drove down to a Mississippi casino and watched two free sets of Sam Butera and the Witnesses do a whole bunch of Louie Prima Tunes. It was amazing. Sam could play trumpet double high C's on his tenor sax, and they weren't "squeaks". He was playing them.
