Limerick, Maine

Post by Tubajug »

Hey all,

Is there anyone near Limerick, Maine that would be willing to pick this up for me? I'm really only interested in the Conn BBb. Sometimes it stinks to be so far away from good deals. I'd really like this for some projects I've got in mind.

If you're willing to work something out, please let me know!

Three horns for a price that's insane,
Too bad that they're all up in Maine.
He wants just the one,
That looks the most fun,
But could use them all (I'm just sayin')

Okay, a little slant rhyme at the end, but it's in Limerick, so hey, I tried. Cool stuff! I used to work for a company in NH not too too far from there... but that was years ago. Maybe there are some New Hampshire-ers out there? Maine is a BIG state that's sparsely populated and takes forever to drive through. Very, very pretty and great people... some tough accents to follow sometimes. Only gets worse farther north... Ive always thought in the northeast, the accents get worse and worse until people are just speaking French. And even then, it's not like France French, but Canadian French.

Anyway, neat Conn BBb. Is that the one with the huge diameter bell, like 20 or 22 inches or whatever?

Haha! Loved the limerick, bort!

Yeah, the bell is 20" I believe. I've contacted the seller via Facebook and he said they're willing to ship, but haven't heard back since yesterday afternoon.

Well, I'm about to be furloughed next week so I'd have some free time. Probably going to head to Boston to visit a friend and could swing up to Maine from there if the stars align. Will keep you posted.

Not for me, I'm afraid. The guy still hasn't responded to my messages since yesterday.
