Based on the relative size of this instrument, I think it is an Eb alto ophicleide/quinticlave.

Now who has an old Gautrot they are trying to get rid of for the same price...?

I saw it on another forum, and it sold...notice the 1st key 'pad'...Heinz jar lid...

This looks like fun, though maybe a bigger one would be more fun. I played bassoon, so ophicleide should be doable, right?
