Nirschl tubas

Post by kingrob76 »

It occurred to me I don't recall seeing anyone sell these as new instruments. Are they only available from Walter Nirschl directly?

One of the best trombone players around here was standing near two or three fiddle players during a rehearsal break quite a few years ago. They were telling each other about their experiences in searching for just the right violin and bow and all that jazz. One of them asked my friend how he went about choosing and financing his trombone. His answer was "website and Discover Card" (and this was before the boutique and tinkertoy trombone craze).

I believe you can figure out the point I'm trying to make from this post - as a probable or possible answer to your quest.
