I recently got a load of tools, supplies, etc. from someone who was retiring from repair, and part of that was a large number (about two full coffee cans' worth) of mismatched trumpet pistons, most with worn plating, no plating, damage, no stems, bent, no markings, etc.
Maybe just junk? Plugs for stuck slides?
I'm thinking about setting aside the ones that are still in good shape (for who knows what) and just tossing the rest.
Anything practical I can do with 'em?
What to do with a load of trashed/worn (mostly trumpet) pistons?
